People and Culture Support Practitioner at NRF National Research Foundation

About the position

Postion Summary:
People Support Practitioner role is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the People & Culture team ensuring smooth and efficient People and Culture operations. This role involves assisting with various People & Culture functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and ensuring compliance with People & Culture policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management,and offboarding
• Filing of all People and Culture documentation as per legislation requirements and operating procedures
• Expedite the coordination of employee queries and concerns, providing guidance on relevant P&C policies and procedures
• Maintaining accurate People records and documentationSupport divisional People and Culture projects and initiatives as assigned by the Business Partners and Manager: People & CultureTraining and Development administration Minute takingEffective and accurate People data management and reporting activities as neededEnsure awareness, compliance and implementation of all legislative and compliance issues

Minimum Qualification:

• Diploma / Advanced Certificate / NQF 6

Minimum Experience:

• 2-2 years

• Diploma in Human Resources or related field

Experience:

• At least 2 year' experience in HR Administration

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of HRIS SystemsMust be familiar with the latest HR legislationSound knowledge of human resources best practice and related legislative requirementsUnderstanding of HR processes and proceduresMS Office suite
