About the Position

Our client is looking for a Internal Auditor who is a newly qualified CA with 2 years Insurance Industry experience .

The successful candidate must have the following qualification, experience, skills and experience:
1. Suitable tertiary auditing related qualification, e.g. BCOM (HONS) Auditing
2. CA(SA) Newly qualified
3. Minimum of 3 years Auditing experience with internal audit or process auditing reviews from planning
to reviewing all phases of the audit with at least 2 years of insurance industry experience;
4. Must be client-orientated with the alertness to see opportunities to add value to the business;
5. A proven track record of self-motivation (drive and energy) to delivery to work independently under
minimal supervision;
6. Attention to detail and strong report writing skills;
7. Strong knowledge of the insurance industry across short-term, long-term and pension fund sub-sectors;
8. Good analytical skills and ability to interpret various data;
9. Strong decision-making, problem-solving ability, business acumen and judgement;
10. An initiative for personal development that includes furthering of IT knowledge and IT Auditing;
11. Appetite for travel locally within South Africa on a frequent basis, particularly between Durban and
Johannesburg.
