About the position

A nationally recognised organisation is looking for an Officer: Human Capital Management to join their team in one of South Africa's most iconic natural spaces. This permanent role is graded at Paterson C2 (R369,915.00 - R517,580.00 per annum) and reports to both the Park Manager and Human Capital Manager. It offers a blend of operational, compliance, and strategic HR responsibilities that directly impact a values-driven team in a park-based setting.

As the successful candidate, you'll:

  • Deliver HR administrative support and maintain accurate data on SAGE 300
  • Provide guidance on policies, processes, wellness, and labour relations matters
  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and learning & development initiatives
  • Administer leave, benefits, IODs, and employee wellness programmes
  • Ensure HR compliance through audits, reporting, and support of disciplinary processes
  • Play a key role in cultivating a positive work culture across a geographically diverse and impactful team

You'll need:

  • A National Diploma (NQF 6) in Human Resources Management or a related field (a degree is advantageous)
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in an HR environment
  • Knowledge of HR systems, BCEA, LRA, EE Act, and Skills Development Act
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, data management, and administrative skills
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel
