About the position

To manage and oversee the company's information technology systems, ensuring that IT services are designed and implemented to support both daily operational needs and strategic objectives. The IT Manager will ensure the security and integrity of data, manage IT infrastructure, provide technical support, and enhance overall productivity through effective technology solutions.

  • Oversee the FrontSeat's IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability and security.
  • Ensure all staff receive effective and timely technical support for IT-related [URL Removed] and manage helpdesk systems for tracking IT issues.
  • Establish and enforce cybersecurity measures to guard against data breaches.
  • Lead IT projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within [URL Removed] with other departments to understand their IT needs for tailored solutions.
  • Develop and implement a business continuity plan (BCP) to ensure that IT systems can recover and sustain operations during a disruption or disaster.
  • Ensure compliance with IT regulations and standards in South [URL Removed] comprehensive documentation for audits and reviews.
  • Developed a comprehensive IT strategy that increases operational [URL Removed] and updated the strategy to align with business growth.
  • Maintained uptime on all IT systems and infrastructure, with regular reviews and updates to enhance performance and security.
  • Technical support requests/Queries are resolved within the agreed timeframe.
  • cybersecurity measures that lead to zero data breaches annually, conduct biannual training sessions for staff on security awareness.
  • Successfully deliver IT projects on time and within budget, with documented completion reports and stakeholder feedback.
  • Ensure that the business continuity plan is tested and updated.

  • Staff Management

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum:
? Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Advantageous:
    ? Relevant certifications (Cisco, Microsoft, ITIL)Minimum:

? 7 years in IT management or a related field (management / supervisory level)

  • Advantageous:
    ? + years in IT management, with experience in Telecommunication and Signage in South African
    industries
