Lead Finance Excellence in a High-Impact Leadership Role
An exciting opportunity is available for an accomplished Financial Manager to take full ownership of finance operations while acting as a key strategic partner to executive leadership. This role is ideally suited for a qualified CA(SA) ready to step into a dynamic environment, drive financial performance, and contribute at a strategic level.
 

Minimum Requirements:

  • CA(SA) qualification
  • Minimum 2+ years post-articles experience
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax legislation, and financial reporting
  • Advanced Excel and ERP systems experience
  • Proven leadership and team management ability
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical mindset

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and internal policies
  • Prepare management accounts, consolidations, and reconciliations
  • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and Annual Financial Statements

Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning

  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Conduct financial analysis on revenue, margins, and cost drivers
  • Deliver variance analysis and cash flow projections
  • Support long-term financial modelling and strategic planning

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

  • Monitor and optimise cash flow and liquidity
  • Manage debtors, creditors, and inventory levels
  • Support banking and treasury activities

Governance, Risk & Audit

  • Strengthen internal controls and ensure audit readiness
  • Lead external audit processes and resolve findings
  • Ensure compliance with governance frameworks and standard operating procedures

Leadership & Business Partnering

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team
  • Review work of accountants and junior staff
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making

Tax & Regulatory Oversight

  • Manage VAT submissions and reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Drive ERP optimisation and reporting automation
  • Enhance financial processes and reporting efficiency

Strategic Leadership (2IC to CFO)

  • Act as stand-in for CFO when required
  • Present financials to executive leadership teams
  • Support execution of financial strategy and business growth initiatives
