About the position
POSITION: Procurement - Final Year Student Internship
BASE: Alberton
Salary: R7 000 - R9 000
We are ideally looking for candidates that are still studying and need the practical experience in order to obtain their final qualification.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
- Currently busy with their studies (For Diploma or Degree)
- Computer literacy
DUTIES
Main duties will include, but not be limited to the following operations
- Establish purchases and specifications
- Collection of purchase requisitions
- Conduct negotiations
- Placement of orders with suppliers
- Arrangement for collection/deliverance of products to clients
- Follow up of late deliveries
- Ensure correct/accurate quality and quantity from suppliers
- Ensure ISO compliance throughout department
- Maintain the Purchase Order Module to ensure all purchase orders are loaded onto SYSPRO and updated on a constant basis.
