About the position
A leading consulting engineering firm based in Bellville is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (Building Services) to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects across both private and government sectors, contributing to innovative and sustainable engineering solutions in Africa and South Africa.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Electrical Engineer looking to grow within a dynamic consulting environment and work on diverse, impactful projects.
Requirements:
- BEng/BSc or BTech qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in electrical engineering within building services projects
- Exposure to private and government sector projects
- Revit and AutoCAD modelling experience
- Industrial project experience advantageous
- Greenfields and brownfields plant design and construction experience beneficial
- Green Building certification advantageous
- Willing to travel in Africa for site visits
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical engineering activities across building services projects
- Design building services systems and green building solutions
- Develop MV and LV infrastructure designs
- Conduct technical evaluations and engineering assessments
- Monitor project progress, cost control and scope changes
- Carry out site inspections, testing and commissioning activities
- Prepare project close-out documentation and reporting
- Assist with project planning and resource forecasting
