About the position

Duties and Responsibilities

• Load and unload cargo, ensuring the stock is handled safely and accurately. Maintain the vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition.
• Transport goods or parcels to clients, suppliers, or company branches. Deliveries may include pick-ups and collections.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes, often using GPS, and meet delivery schedules.
• Collect, verify, and complete all necessary paperwork, such as invoices and delivery instructions.
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with customers and providing excellent service.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, sales, and customers to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Assist with general logistics or warehouse duties as needed.

• Grade 12 / Matric

Minimum Requirements




- Matric (Grade 12)
- Valid Code 10 License + PDP
- Minimum 3 years' experience driving trucks
- Courier experience will be advantageous
- Must be willing to do deliveries in and around townships and surbubs
- Clear criminal record
- Available to start immediately
