About the position

• PRIMARY PURPOSE
• To fully analyze balance sheets and put together executive summaries for submission to relevant Credit Managers or Head of Credit
• KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPA's) AND KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI's)
• FINANCE

• Compiling Exec Summary of Credit Applications
• Financial Analysis
• Daily Reports
• Collateral / Security
• Admin
• Key Performance Indicator (KPI)
• Accurate And comprehensive assessment of the background, needs and affordability of a credit application
• Analysis of Audited financials and ratios
• Daily control of reports ensuring action is taken when necessary and ensure these are signed off daily
• Ensure that the daily collateral report and security is in order and in line with sanction
• Excellent management of the day to day admin within the allotted portfolio

REQUIREMENTS (What is required to perform the Essential Duties)
Minimum Ideal
Qualifications BComm or Banking Degree / Diploma or working towards a Financial Diploma or degree
Experience Minimum 5 years Banking and a minimum of 2 years in a Credit Analyst Role
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required (Competencies & level of competencies)
Minimum Ideal
Finance Knowledge
Full understanding of Financial Ratios
Ability to read and fully analyze Financial statements
Excellent computer skills in word and excel
