Graduate recruitment programme / candidate skills and character
Simba’s Accelerated Graduate Development Programme is a prestigious programme committed to the development of local talent. The 24-month management training programme equips candidates with a broad business understanding, practical experience and develops leadership qualities. The programme provides access to a credible coach and senior Simba leaders. Successful applicants gain exposure to general business skills, after which they undergo intensive training in the company’s various business functions: Human Resources, Finance, Research & Development, Commercial (Sales & Marketing) and Operations (Production, Supply Chain, Agronomy and Engineering). The programme is recommended for individuals who have a Bachelor degree with outstanding academic record, are computer literate and who have excellent leadership and communication skills. Involvement in extracurricular activities during university study is key. Individuals must have drive and ambition and be in possession of a driver’s license. Training takes place at PepsiCo’s Gauteng head office in Isando, Johannesburg.
