Brief History

Merand Corbett & Associates was established in 1990 as an independant, owner managed recruitment partnership. Since then, the Company has enjoyed rapid growth, established a reputation for the structuring and delivery of successful recruitment solutions to a comprehensive and diverse client base, and is now an established name in South Africa

We source experienced staff from many different fields only a few of them being: engineering, information technology, financial and legal.

Our philosophy is based on the principle of providing professional, innovative recruitment solutions cost effectively, to add value to our clients business. We use a variety of methods, tailored to our clients' individual requirements, by utilising in-house research in conjunction with search and advertised selection techniques.

Over and above all this, we have combined the added marketing abilities and extended target market of the internet with a unique information system, which allows us to provide an extensive and accurate market coverage brought to fruition by the introduction of this technological age.

Our Consultants are specialists in the fields in which they operate, allowing them to provide a greater insight into, and a clearer understanding of the sectors in which they are immersed. This allows them to provide accurate and objective advice to clients and a greater ability to source candidates that exactly match their requirements.

Our consultants have a widespread understanding of the marketplace, and can be innovative with regard to placements and advice. This ability to see aspects from both the client and the applicant's point of view is an invaluable one in the placement market.
