About the position

Responsibilities:

• Has a detailed understanding and application of the accounting packages and systems used to generate the general ledger.
• Responsible for accounting system and reporting of the company.
• Timeous delivery of financial statements
• Has detailed understanding of all fund agreements.
• Is responsible for company compliance.
• Is responsible for taxation and all tax related issues.
• Is responsible for quarterly fund reporting.
• Assist with fund structuring and fund-raising process.
• Is responsible for the administration function and assist with meeting legal obligations of fund investors.
• Accountable and responsible for company's statutory obligations.
• Management of finance staff.
• Effectively liaises with investors.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum CA (SA)
• Minimum experience of 8 years post completion of articles in financial services sector.
• Investment banking or related industry experience, a preference
• Timeous delivery and meeting of deadlines.
• Tenacity and a high standard of work ethic.
• General communication skills and a team player.
