About the position
Our client, in the power generation industry, is currently looking to appoint multiple candidate quantity surveyors (Candidate QS) for a tender to be based in Cape Town, Western Cape.
Minimum Requirements:
- Currently registered with the SACQSP as a candidate quantity surveyor - preferred
- Previously registered with the SACQSP as a Candidate Quantity Surveyor will also be considered
- 3 - 7 years' experience in the construction industry
- 1 - 5 years' experience in the power generation industry
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle
- Own laptop
Main duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Provision of quantity surveying services throughout the project life cycle.
- Compiling of cost estimates
- Tracking contractor performance
- Comply with all site-related governance and safety, health, environment, risk, and quality requirements.
- Assisting/ managing agreements throughout the project lifecycle
