About the position
Business Development Manager - Cape Town
Are you a natural hunter with a passion for sales? Do you thrive in the fast-paced world of logistics and supply chain solutions? My client is looking for a Business Development Manager (Cape Town) to join a dynamic team and drive business growth across multiple markets.
What you'll do:
Identify and research new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Develop and implement strategic growth plans
- Negotiate and close deals, exceeding revenue targets
- Collaborate with operations to ensure clients are onboarded and serviced flawlessly
What we're looking for:
5+ years' experience in business development or sales, preferably in logistics/freight
- Proven track record of winning new business
- Strong negotiation, strategic thinking, and analytical skills
- Supply chain and logistics knowledge is a strong advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
You'll play a key role in growing the business, influencing strategy, and working with diverse teams across a multi-modal logistics environment.
