About the position

Branch Administrator - Grade 10
Durban CDC
Overall Job Function
To ensure effective administration and execution of branch processes in order to ensure compliance against standard operating procedures, audit controls, legislative requirements as well as to provide the necessary support to the Sales team to meet company goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Overall management of warehouse processes and staff to ensure effective receiving and delivery of products as well prevention of stock loss
  • Manage branch administrative/operational processes and policies as well as financial procedures to ensure the most efficient procedures are in place, are adhered to by staff and are administered within budget
  • Implement and monitor Health & Safety regulations in the warehouse and branch in order to ensure compliance with legislative and company regulatory requirements
  • Provide leadership to the department through goal setting, capabilities development, performance feedback and career planning, help recruit and retain competent and high performing staff in order to ensure departmental service delivery and achievement of departmental goals
  • Support the branch sales team in order to achieve sales targets
  • Branch Security
  • Manage Branch Assets
  • Cost Control - To effect Savings across Branch Operation & Selling Expenses

Job Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Administration
  • 3 years' experience in similar field
  • Experience in Warehouse Administration
  • Microsoft Office Advanced Skills
  • SAP and WMS experience
