About the position
Our client is a Leading Global Provider of Educational Publishing and Digital Learning Solutions. They are currently seeking a Full Function Accountant to join their well-seasoned and dynamic Finance Team in the heart of Sandton. The Company operates across multiple regions and partners with schools, universities, and educators worldwide to deliver trusted learning materials and innovative digital platforms. The role encompasses the full spectrum of Accounting activities, including maintaining accurate general ledger records, managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing monthly management accounts, and ensuring timely completion of reconciliations (including VAT Reconcilliations) and reporting schedules. The Accountant will take ownership of month-end and year-end processes, oversee compliance with statutory and tax requirements, and support the preparation of audit files and annual financial statements. This role offers a hybrid option allowing you to only go into office twice a week.
