Are you a skilled technical professional with a passion for managing workshop operations? Our client, a leading supplier of engineering support services, is on the lookout for a dynamic Workshop Manager to join their team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficient Workshop Management: Take charge of workshop activities, personnel, materials, and consumables to maximize efficiencies and machine utilization.
- Contract Delivery Excellence: Ensure timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to contract delivery dates, costs, and hours.
- Safety Compliance: Uphold strict adherence to safety regulations, creating a secure working environment for all operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Engineering.
- 7-10 years of experience in a pressure part manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in material specifications, welding, and inspection processes.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing/fabrication processes for pressure parts.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings related to fabricated pressure parts.
- Budget control skills.
