About the position
Our client in the Fishing industry is currently looking to employ Wage / Finance Administrator – Fishing Industry, based in Port Elizabeth.

Requirements:
- Matric essential.
- Tertiary qualification in Finance highly advantageous.
- Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar industry.
- Experience in Pastel essential.
Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:
- Compile the fishing vessel crew wage sheets and payslips.
- Draw docking day subs and hand over to the 1st office for pay out once offloading is complete.
- Update the EMP 501 schedule to ensure PAYE, UIF and SDL are reconciled and paid.
- Ensure retainers are paid on the 25 of each month by compiling payslips and sending to Head office timeously.
- Track Squid cost for stock valuations.
- Help with reconciling advances.
- Ensure creditors' invoices are correct when requested by finance.
- Review attendance registers before submitting to Finance for payment.
