Supply Chain Manager

About the position

Supply Chain Manager required for reputable company based in East London , Eastern Cape

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a supply chain management role, preferably in the food and beverage industry
• Experience with procurement, inventory management, transportation, and distribution
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

• Implementing strategic plans for the supply chain, including procurement, inventory, transportation, and distribution.
• Manage the procurement of all food and non-food items, including negotiating contracts with suppliers and ensuring that all products meet the companies high-quality standards.
• Oversee the inventory management system and ensure that all restaurants have the supplies they need to operate efficiently and effectively
• Manage the transportation and distribution of all food and non-food items to the restaurants.
• Work closely with the Operations team to ensure that all supply chain processes are aligned with the company's overall business goals.
• Monitor the performance of the supply chain and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement new supply chain technologies and processes.
• Develop and support local market supply chain teams
