Storeman (Oil Room)

About the position

Main Purpose;

• Stock control of Oils in Oil Store.
• Ensure accurate receipts, storing and issuing of oils to Production.
• Housekeeping and Bin accuracy to be maintained.
• Ensure the FIFO and expiring of stock is maintained and monitored regularly.
• Perform daily cycle counts.

Responsibilities;

• Ensure accurate picking of batch slips/works orders/jobs are done daily.
• Ensure all oils - raw materials are live scanned to batch slips/jobs on each shift-
• Ensure stock rotation (FIFO)
• Ensure all batch slips/jobs are accurately closed by end of shift.
• Ensure all batch slips/jobs are paired on blending floor.- Maintain bin location management daily.
• Maintaining records and documenting of procedures.
• Participate in stocktakes
• Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management
• Maintain a safe and clean work space AT ALL TIMES; effectively ensuring that the "CLEAN AS YOU GO" methodology is applied. -
• Follow and adhere to established safety rules and regulations
• Responsible for ensuring adherence to the standard Operating Procedures as they apply to Manufacturing for management of the FSSC22000 and the BRC Certification Standards

Knowledge & Experience;

• Good understanding of OHSA and HACCP /ISO /FFSC
• Experience in the operation of process equipment
• 3-5 years work experience in food manufacturing
• Ability to perform numeric calculations
• Ability to accurately apply the requirements contained within the Production or Food Safety Documentation; together with the system application tools like RITESCAN and SYSPRO for the processing of production operations
• Previous Storeman experience will be an [URL Removed] knowledge of SYSPRO as well as a Warehouse Management stock system.
