About the position
Job Brief Perform ultrasound procedures with accuracy and precision. Reporting The role will report to the Radiologists. Requirements and skills Experience required- 2 years' experience post qualification. Qualifications Academic qualification- National Diploma/Degree in Ultrasound
Prepare preliminary reports, including recording of sonographic images of patients and assist in diagnosis of a variety of medical illnesses and conditions.
Explain sonographic procedures to patients, prepare and position patients on the table.
Complete the appropriate documentation and maintain patients' medical records.
Assist Radiologists/Physicians and healthcare teams during invasive procedures.
Maintain and clean sonographic equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
Team reporting structure (organogram)- Reporting directly to the radiologist and practice manager.
Abilities required- Ability to operate and work with ultrasound diagnostic equipment.
The ability to explain technical terms in a clear and understandable way.
Knowledge required- Computer literate.
Competencies required- Ables to perform MSK, Abdomen/Pelvis, Vascular, Small Parts,
Cranial/Neonatal/Pediatric.
Physical requirements- Able to perform her/his duties.
