About the position
Service Provider Practice Consultant
Ref: SPPC/BM/LM
Salary: Market related
Location: Cape Town
Medical Scheme based in Cape Town seeks to employ a suitable qualified candidate in support to the healthcare providers on the network, expand the network and promote the Scheme.
Key responsibilities:
- Proactive Management for short paid claims and Overcharged Claims.
- Increase referrals to top-ranked specialists.
- Quarterly Q & A sessions for staff from relevant departments.
- Specialists Contracting and Research Management.
- Support Managers and Team Leaders in tasks
- Quality Assurance
Key requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Medical or Business-related degree
- Minimum of 3 years experience in health related/ medical scheme environment
- Minimum of 3 years experience in client services/ medical representative/ interaction with Specialists
