Senior Site Manager - Civils
Randburg, permanent appointment, site based
Salary R25-35k per month plus company car & fuel, plus overtime

A highly successful Plant Hire, Civil & Bulk Earthworks operation is looking for a Senior Site Manager to join their team soonest!

As Site Manager you will be responsible for managing civil construction works (roads, pavements, water, sewerage, bulk earthworks, supply of aggregates etc.) on various sites across Gauteng mainly, some in North West/ Free State on occasion. Leading and motivating a group of Site Supervisors and Operators, making sure projects are working efficiently and to schedule.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing 4-8 sites at any one point in time
• Performing quality control on site
• Managing Health & Safety on site
• Leading Site Supervisors and Operators on site
• Boosting productivity and optimizing efficiency on site
• Assisting with quotations
• ?Reporting into the Fleet Manager and Managing Director

Minimum requirements:

• Relevant degree / diploma in civil engineering/ surveying advantageous
• 5- 10 years' experience in civil construction
• Proactive problem solving ability
• Good leader motivating staff to deliver quality
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Must be in good health (Medical Clearance Certificate)
