Senior SHEQ and Sustainability manager

About the position

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Lead continuous improvement, Safety, Health, Environment Risk and Quality (SHERQ), where excellence is expected, and managers are held accountable and responsible for compliance to legislation throughout the division. To develop, manage and oversee the implementation of SHERQ and IMS policies, processes, practices, and procedures within the Agriculture division to ensure compliance with the relevant statutory and other requirements ensuring effective and efficient management for the division.

Expirience

• More than 10 years' relevant managerial experience and a demonstrated track record in leading a diverse team, including successfully implementing a SHERQ Strategy within an operational business

• Hazard Identification and Risk Analysis (HIRA)
• Best practice training methodology and implementation
• Effective incident management
• ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards
• SHE management systems
• Hazard, Risk and Environmental Management Systems
• Laws, legal codes, precedents, government regulations
• Project management
