About the position

Responsibilities:

• LegislativeresponsibilitiesAs an authorised officer of the , responsible for conducting audits on allAir Operators, as per Master Surveillance Plan, to establish compliance to theRegulations.
• Thorough analysis of all Air Operator audit reports
• .Accountable for the correct decision to either renew or withdraw Air OperatorCertificates based on audit outcomes.
• Exercise the powers delegated in terms of the legislation to authorise, vary orwithdraw certificates, licenses, permits and approvals in respect of Air Operators
• .Initiate regulatory review and submit to CARCOM25%Planning Develop annual oversight plans and safety promotion [URL Removed] and monitor mentoring plans.
• 15%Financial Planning and ControlDevelop accurate activity revenue and costing, planning and budgets
• 10%OperationalManagementDefine the scope of oversight requirements, scope of work, and resourcesrequired, schedule work program and control performance.
• 15%Liaison and Policy Represent the Authority in negotiations and liaise with stakeholders and industrybodies.
