About the position
You will form part of the Merger & Acquisition operational team of this Private Equity Holding company.
The core purpose of this individual is to be responsible for providing accurate and timely legal advice to the Managing Director on a variety of legal topics, usually focused on contract and corporate law. Responsibilities include researching and evaluating different risk factors and offering proactive advice on possible legal issues (mitigating risks). They conduct legal research, assemble legal documents, and maintain and organise file documents.
This individual is responsible for helping to ensure the legal integrity of the Group.
Within this there are two streams:
Contractual Law - any kind of contract be it a Sale/Lease or Share agreement,
Statutory and Governance Law - there are 19 entities within the Group of which 5 are operational entities and 14 are SPVs.
