SAP Data Quality/Management Analyst (hybrid) contract (TB)

About the position

• Perform data quality assessments to identify data issues.


• Perform root cause analysis to understand the source of data quality issues and develop solutions for remediation.


• Implement data cleansing and enrichment processes.


• Be familiar with SAP and be able to navigate the different SAP modules.


• Analyse SAP data using queries and tools to identify incorrect data, duplicate data, and errors.


• Perform data extraction from different SAP modules.


• Plan and execute on data remediation activities.


• Work with technical teams (application developers) to create and automate data cleansing processes within SAP.


• Monitor and improve data governance processes to ensure compliance with data regulations, policies, and standards.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data and reporting requirements.


• Develop and maintain data documentation, including data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and data lineage.


• Analyse data management systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate solutions.


• Provide technical support and expertise to end-users regarding data management tools and systems.


• Collaborate with various stakeholders across the business community to share master data knowledge and embed best practices.


• Collaborate with data users and business users to define data ownership and implement data quality standards.


• Provide training and guidance to users on data quality best practices.

 


Minimum Requirements:

• Matric plus a BTech OR Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.


• Recruiting an SAP Data Management Professional with at least 5 years’ plus experience, someone that has been involved in a SAP ERP implementations with focus on data cleansing and data quality.


• The resource will work closely with various business stakeholders and IT teams to identify and resolve data quality issues.


• Proficiency in SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, SD, MM) is required.


• Microsoft Dynamics (D365) knowledge is beneficial.


• Proven experience with SQL querying and data manipulation techniques.


• Strong understanding of data quality principles and methodologies.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Strong communication skills will be key to enable the candidate to lead technical consultants and engage with business stakeholders.


• Experience with SAP data quality tools (e.g., SAP Information Steward).
