Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Representative with a proven track record in selling industrial chemicals. The ideal candidate will have expertise in one or more of the following sectors: water treatment, agriculture, animal feed, mining minerals, textiles, and detergents. This role involves developing and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets in the assigned sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify new prospects.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Present and demonstrate our range of industrial chemicals to prospective clients.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, contracts, and presentations to secure new business.
- Negotiate pricing and terms of sales agreements.
- Collaborate with the technical team to provide tailored solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Provide feedback to management on market conditions, sales activities, and competitor analysis.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote our products.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM software.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the industrial chemicals industry.
- Proven experience in one or more of the following sectors: water treatment, agriculture, animal feed, mining minerals, textiles, and detergents.
- Strong knowledge of industrial chemical products and their applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
