About the position
Job Responsibilities: Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media within the construction and building sector. Minimum education: Matric. Working Hours: Flexibility available, but aligned with store hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 18:00.
Visit construction sites and engage with potential clients to understand their needs and offer customized solutions.
Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
Create detailed quotes and proposals to meet customer requirements.
Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory.
Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.
Regularly report to the store general manager and assistant store manager.
Requirements:
At least 2 years of sales experience, with knowledge of building site terms and products.
Strong computer literacy with the ability to manage emails, draw up quotes, and work on our ERP system.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations.
