About the position

Are you passionate about being a sales consultant in the insurance sector? Ready to take your career to new heights? Look no further our client in the telematics industry is looking for a sales consultant insurance, The ideal candidate will develop relationships with key accounts to maximize revenue and client retention. You act as a consultant by developing account strategies that provide the greatest opportunities to drive revenue.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business or sales.

  • 3+ years of sales consulting or business intelligence experience.

  • 2-3 years broker.

  • Must have B2B experience.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.


  •  Provide general sales support (needs analysis, data review, and product demonstrations)

  • Serve as the customer advocate and liaison for product management and development.

  • Prepare periodic forecasts and progress updates toward sales goals.

  • Identify prospects and business opportunities to grow portfolio in the relevant segment i.e. Insurance.

  • Successfully manage the sales process i.e. client signup and lead generation from Insurers, Insurance Brokers, Insurance Administrators and Insurance Underwriting managers to a billable installation of the selected product.

  • Achieve or exceed allocated sales and revenue targets as set out by management.

  • Ensure CRM and activity reports are updated daily with all relevant activities.

  • Proactively up-sell and cross-selling into accounts gained.

  • Regular training on products and service offerings to the insurance partner client base that you build.

  • Build, maintain and strengthen relationships with prospect clients, existing clients and relevant stakeholders.

  • Resolve client queries and complaints.

  • Liaise with all internal departments and stakeholders.

  • Report on sales, fitments, market share, penetration, competitor activity and market movement.
