About the position

Retail Sales Executive for the SEYCHELLES....

They are looking for a Retail Sales Executive who will be responsible for overseeing the sales efforts of a retail store or team. They will be tasked with developing and implementing sales strategies, managing the sales team, and achieving sales goals. The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience in retail sales and management, as well as a deep understanding of sales techniques and customer service.
The candidate will report directly to the General Manager and must be self-motivated and driven, constantly looking at new avenues to pursue and understands the needs of the end consumer. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in a leadership role, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions, and a strong understanding of retail operations and sales techniques.

The Sales Manager would be responsible for the following:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Managing and motivating sales staff to ensure they meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Maintaining a positive and productive work environment for staff.
  • Assisting customers with sales and answering any questions they may have.
  • Managing inventory and ensuring that the store is well-stocked.
  • Training and developing sales staff on product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key customers.
  • Collaborating with other departments to improve overall store performance.

We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Sales experience in selling fresh and frozen perishable produce.
  • Experienced in the retail industry within Africa.
  • Proven sales track record.
  • Experience in managing a team with different cultures.
  • Experience in living and working outside of their home country.
