About the position

  • Performing of various duties typically associated in the fulfilment of a project engineer position i.e. mentoring and managing a planning and design team, during the project development stages of above-mentioned projects.
  • Development of technically sound deliverables associated with each stage of the project (Inception, Concept & Viability, Design Development, Documentation and Procurement, Construction Administration and Close Out).
  • Managing each project in accordance with companies Quality Management System
  • Water and Sanitation Master Planning Experience
  • Development and or refurbishment of Bulk Water Supply lines (Transfer Systems), i.e. larger diameter pipeline and pumpstation planning and design.
  • New outfall sewer design and or pipe rehabilitation upgrade experience.
  • Groundwater Development and Rural Water Supply
  • Water conservation demand management projects.
  • Sound understanding of civil engineering construction contracts and management thereof (GCC, FIDIC Red / Yellow Book).

Experience and Qualifications



  • Registered professional engineer (Pr Eng) at ECSA (BEng, or BSc, degree required)
  • Minimum 5 years' post registration experience in Water & Sanitation Infrastructure Development
