About the position
We are recruiting a Receptionist to join the Centurion Head Office of an established supplier to the hospitality industry. The successful incumbent will also provide assistance to the internal sales department. Minimum Requirements Overview of role Salary Bracket
Matric
1+ year related experience
Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans
Greet vendors, customers, job applicants and other visitors.
Maintain any records and documentation associated with work responsibilities assigned.
Answer all telephone calls, e-mails, customer queries, walk-in customers and all on-going daily communication without distraction or disregard.
Input of orders onto Pastel Evolution in a prompt, consistent and accurate manner.
Input of web orders onto Pastel Evolution in a prompt, consistent and accurate manner, ensuring the integration process onto Pastel and DSV is successfully concluded.
Active and timely response with product knowledge, in-depth ability to respond to needs, quantities, values and availability. Report any problems.
Assist with ensuring that items are stored correctly and neatly in the sales environment.
Ensure that area of work is neat and cleaned.
Communicate effectively with the warehouse when ordering customer requirements or replenishment.
Assist with general administrative work as required from time to time.
Understand the requirements for third party administration, creating waybills, extracting, and exporting the information.
Follow all safety instructions and adhere to workplace rules regarding hygiene, safety, and general conduct.
Assist with any tasks assigned by senior reports, including the use of any PPE as required in areas.
R10 000 to R15 000 pm CTC, depending on experience, qualification(s) and current/previous salary
