Quality Manager

About the position

A global mining manufacturer is looking to employ an experienced and dedicated Quality Manager with 5 – 10 years’ experience in a similar environment.
Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• BSc Degree or National Diploma
• Registration with the relevant Statutory Body (e.g. SACNASP)
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
• Minimum of 5 – 10 years’ experience in a management role
• Knowledgeable in IS0 9001, ISO 17025, Chemistry, Statistics, Quality Management, laboratory quality assurance, NNR, DoE and SHEQ
• Extensive knowledge of chemical methods and principles
• Strong leadership skills with high emotional intelligence
• Effectively managing the Quality team
• Designing, setting up and maintaining all QMS requirements for ISO[Phone Number Removed]; and 17043
• Compiling Certificates, Proficiency Reports and MSDS’s for all projects
• Conducting laboratory quality monitoring
• Reviewing and assessing all proficiency testing laboratories to ensure necessary compliance and accreditations
• Managing the SLA system for all participating laboratories
