About the position
This global company is a leader in the manufacturing and engineering industry, specialising in providing innovative solutions to the mining sector. All their products are designed in-house by their dynamic engineering team.
We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector with a strong background in manufacturing and engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with welding procedures and codes.
- Verify correct assembly of components and sub-assemblies.
- Conduct a thorough final inspection of the finished products.
- Identify and document any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards.
- Provide feedback to the engineering and production teams for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Matric
- Quality Management Qualification Advantageous
- Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
- Familiarity with ISO and other relevant quality standards.
