About the position
Purchasing Specialist
Our client in the automotive component manufacturing industry is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to join their team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Control raw material imports
- Control manufacturing materials
- Management of the APDP program
- Pricing
- Packaging
- Costing
Minimum Requirements
- Experience in the automotive industry
- At least 5-8 years’ experience in a senior purchasing role
- Exposure to direct and indirect buying is essential
- Relevant tertiary qualification in purchasing / supply chain
- Knowledge of imports procedures
- Knowledge of Forex
