About the position
Position: Project Planner
Location: Gauteng
Hire Resolve's Client is seeking a Project Planner for their team in Gauteng!
Responsibilities:
- Ensure health and Safety of self and team members by applying relevant standards and procedures in all planning and execution of maintenance activities
- Perform inspections in accordance with the MHSA regulations and company standards
- Contribute to the culture of Zero Harm by adhering to all requirements as laid down by legislation health safety environmental security policies and procedures and by the application of specific instructions to own work area and task completion
- Prepare and update the master project plan for all projects managed by the Stay In Business department which includes the monitoring and tracking of all activities and, the incorporation of subproject plans and related change requirements
- Develop plans based on project work breakdown structures, critical path methods and resource plans.
- Ensure that the appropriate management of change plans have been completed and submitted for all projects as required
- Report on and communicate relevant project schedule conflicts, resource constraints, and time constraints as required to ensure timely remedial intervention
- Develop and maintain weekly and monthly project progress reports
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- A relevant Trade Certificate
- 5 years experience as an artisan at a Mine and a minimum 3 years experience as a Project Planner
