About the position
Job Summary:
Lead and execute projects successfully with cross-functional teams. Ensure timely delivery within budget and specifications. Utilize strong technical and communication skills to drive project initiatives from inception.
Duties:

- Collaboration with Department Heads and other stakeholders to formulate project plans and schedules.
- Execution of feasibility studies and risk evaluations to identify potential project limitations and devise mitigation strategies.
- Coordination and supervision of the design, procurement, and construction stages of projects, ensuring adherence to industry norms and regulations.
- Management of project budgets, expense tracking, and regular progress reporting to stakeholders.
- Site visits to oversee construction progress, address any concerns, and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
- Facilitation of effective communication and resolution of project-related issues by acting as a liaison between internal teams, external contractors, and Department Heads.
- Leadership of project meetings, provision of technical guidance to team members, and facilitation of problem-solving sessions as required.
- Post-project evaluations to learn lessons, identify areas for enhancement, and implement best practices for future projects.

Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Additional Project Management qualifications are desirable
- A minimum of 3 years in a Project Engineering position
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word)
- Experience with Gantt charts is a plus
