About the position
Minimum requirements
- Matric or relevant tertiary qualification
- Refrigeration experience essential
- 5 – 6 years’ previous experience in a supervisory or management role
- Previous exposure to a production environment would be advantageous
- Proficient on MS Office Suite
Responsibilities
- Accountable for critical decisions pertaining to departmental delivery targets
- Oversee production processes, and orchestrate all production activities and operations
- Plan and develop production schedules
- Ensure that processes and procedures are developed and effectively implemented to help
- the department meet its operational and strategic goals
- Identify gaps in processes and implement improvement measures
- Ensure that ISO quality standards for all processes and procedures are met & maintained
- Manage the workforce & efficiently utilise resources
- Provide regular feedback/update reports to senior management
