About the position

 Purpose of the job:
To optimise process flows and achieving Mechanical Efficiencies.

Required Qualifications 

• Diploma/Degree or equivalent in Operations or Factory Management.
• At least 5 years of experience in a Senior Operations/Factory Management position.
• 3 years’ experience in Cost Management, Fixing and operating of production machinery.
• The ability to Fix Production Machinery is Essential

Technical Competencies and responsibilities

• Ensuring efficient and effective operations of the macadamia kernel, cosmetic oil and food grade protein/oil production processes.
• Effective management and motivation of all production staff.
• Planning and organising production schedules
• Monitoring productivity rates and product standards and improvement programmes
• Negotiating and agreeing production budgets and timescales with managers
• Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
• Ensuring quality control standards are met in the production process
• Overseeing constant improvement of production processes
• Re-negotiating production timescales or schedules as necessary
• Ensure that FSSC 22,000 standards are followed in the kernel processing, cosmetic oil and food grade oil and protein production lines

• Strong Literacy and numeracy
• Strong computer knowledge including accounting software and Excel skills.
