About the position
My client is based in the northern suburbs of Cape Town and is a leader in logistics and supply chain. They are looking for an experienced Procurement Coordinator to join their team, who will manage the administration and processes of their procurement including POs, on-boarding, receipts , cross border documentation etc.
Experience in a similar role will be key to this position.
Understanding of master data, tenders etc and knowledge of clearing and forwarding processses cross border is required. A sound understanding of procurement coordination is essential.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Coordination with buyers and stores
- Supplier onboarding and administration
- RFI,RFQ and RFPs administration and support
- Assist buyers with pricing updates and removals as required
- Assisting finance in procurement reporting using data retrievals
- Assisting inventory with ensuring GRN processes are completed at end of day
- Working knowledge of an ERP system
