POST BASIC PHARMACIST ASSISTANT (PERMANENT POST)
BASIC SALARY: R329 914 PER ANNUM ? REF NO: HS 23/24 ? KHAYELITSHA SUB-DISTRICT
Requirements:
- A qualification as Post-basic Pharmacist's Assistant (Institutional Sector)
- Current registration with the South African Pharmacy Council as Pharmacist's Assistant (Post-basic)
- At least three (3) years' experience as a Pharmacist Assistant (Post-Basic) with Primary Health Care (ART and TB) experience
- Competent in MS Word; MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
- Administrative experience in a clinic setting will be an advantage
- A valid driver's Licence is essential.
Key performance areas:
- Assisting in managing and controlling pharmaceutical stock by ordering, receiving and checking requisitions
- Storing of pharmaceutical products
- Monitoring and maintaining stock
- Dispensing and checking of pharmaceutical products and providing instructions regarding the use of medication
- Performing administrative functions as required
- Working under indirect supervision at one or more site.
