Pipelaying Supervisor (Eswatini)

Hire Resolve’s client is urgently seeking the expertise of a Pipelaying Supervisor in Eswatini.

Job Description:
The Pipelaying Supervisor oversees the installation and maintenance of pipelines for various infrastructure projects. They are responsible for managing a team of pipelayers and ensuring the proper alignment, depth, and safety of the pipeline installation. The Pipelaying Supervisor must be knowledgeable about pipeline construction techniques, materials, and equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of pipelayers and other crew members
- Ensure that pipelines are installed according to engineering plans and specifications
- Monitor safety procedures and ensure compliance with company and industry regulations
- Conduct regular inspections of the work site to identify potential hazards and address any issues promptly
- Keep accurate records of materials, equipment, and labor hours used on the project
- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders

Key Requirements:
- +10 years’ experience in construction with at least 5 years experience as a Pipelaying Foreman / Supervisor
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or higher
- Strong knowledge of pipeline construction techniques, materials, and equipment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and specifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
