About the position
Westfalia Fruit Estates situated in Modjadjiskloof, has a permanent vacancy for a suitably qualified and experiencedPeople and Culture Manager.
The successful candidate will be based in Tzaneen and be responsible for managing a small administrative team to deliver on People &Culture objectives. This is a key role and a trusted business partner for the Agricultural Division to drive the people agenda. The candidate will be charged with streamlining systems and processes to ensure seamless and efficient service delivery. The role calls for a team player who will collaborate with the People &Culture community on strategic projects as well as the local payroll team. Experience within a shared services model and understanding of the Agricultural sector or a labour-intensive environment is ideal. The role currently reports to the Director of People and Culture Africa. Must be prepared to travel from time to time.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Science or Business Management
- 5-8 years' experience as a P&C Business Partner (HR generalist) in a similar environment
- Experience in managing end-to-end Employee Lifecycle, including employee wellness
- Experience in managing administrative processes in a shared serviced environment
- Experience in social audits applicable to the farming sector
- Valid Driver Licence required with own vehicle
