About the position

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To manage the company clinic, in conjunction with the company Doctor, with specific reference tothe health and safety of all employees and contractors, to ensure the elements of the OHSA,corporate HSE policies and procedures, and all other legislation is adhered to.
• Provide primary health care as well as pre-employment, annual, exit and other legislated medicals inorder to ensure the ongoing wellbeing and safety of all employees, through the identification,assessment, and minimization of identified hazards and risks.
• Conduct company Wellness Days annually.
• To maintain SHEQ standards and ensure that daily tasks are met as pre-set, in compliance with theOHS Act and ISO standards

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

• Matric
• Occupational Nursing Qualification and Registration (SANC & SASOHN).
• Audiometry Qualification.
• Spirometry Qualification.

Experience:

• 2 Years' experience in a chemical industry/production environment.
• Implementation and maintenance of Employee Wellness Programs.
• Venesection/Phlebotomy (Not negotiable).
• HIV / Aids Programs
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Dispensing License
• Good communication skills.
• Own transport.
• Ability to work flexi-hours.
