About the position
A Well-known Private Hospital is looking for a NICU Professional Nurse who is dedicated and well-presented, who can speak English and Afrikaans and who's got the drive and will power to join our dynamic team of experts and who's got Midwifery and Neonatal Science Qualifications.
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: Market related. Negotiable depending on experience qualifications
Qualifications:
- Matric
- Professional Nursing Qualification
- Registered with SANC
- Minimum 2-3 years' post qualification experience in a Neonatal ICU Ward and Midwifery is compulsory
- Diploma in Neo Natal Critical Care and Midwifery is a requirement
- Shift work compulsory Work overtime when required
Requirements:
- Clinical competence and strong quality patient care orientation
- High energy levels and tolerance for stress
- Good work management, planning and organising skills
- Problem analysis/solving skills and accurate record keeping
- Adaptable and able to work effectively within a team
- Detail orientated especially with regards to stock control
- Liaison between patients, doctors and personnel
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
