About the position
Millwright (Heavy Industry)
My client in Manufacturing is looking for a Millwright that has 5 years’ plant experience working in the heavy engineering industry. Must be a qualified Millwright with completed trade test (Matric Certificate mandatory). You must be physically fit, not afraid of heights or confined spaces. You will be the first contact point to ensure Breakdowns and inspections are performed on a 24 hrs basis for maximum plant availability and efficiency. Must have knowledge of planned maintenance principles, maintenance & repairs on pumps, hydraulic, pneumatic and grease systems as well as experience with chain drives, drive shafts, fans, gearboxes, overhead cranes, electric motors and conveyor belt systems. Valid driver’s licence necessary and basic computer literacy. Contact me today for more info!
