About the position
As an Engineer, you will design regular HVAC installations, but you will also design customer-specific installations that our client designs and builds at the customer's request. The projects and installations you design are diverse in nature. One moment you are working on various projects within the utility sector, such as an office building or a logistics location, but at other times you are working on complex projects. This might include renovations or new construction projects within healthcare, laboratories or light industry.
You will also help the department reach a higher level and there is room for your own development. As an Engineer, you expand your knowledge and are facilitated by us in the field of courses and training.
Your duties as a Mechanical Engineering Engineer will include:
- Handling issues from our regular clients with beautiful and complex technologies that you can get your teeth into. You will be in direct contact with the client, advising them on installations and making decisions
- Cooperating with other mechanical engineers and modellers, but also with engineers from other disciplines and colleagues in the implementation. Together, you take care of the design and support the realisation of new construction and renovation projects
- Collaborate with other design team members such as the architect and consultants. Everyone is responsible for part of the design, which is why your communication skills are essential
- Supervising trainees, graduates, trainees or junior engineers within the department
Desired Skills:
- - A completed MBO-4 or higher vocational degree in mechanical or installation engineering - Experience as a mechanical engineer in the field of building-related installations

- Knowledge of relevant ISO and NEN standards and software such as VABI -
- Supervising trainees

- Good command (B1 or B2 level) of the Dutch language is a big advantage
