Our client is looking to employ a Marketing Officer
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing and implementing marketing plans
- Conducting market research to establish customer trends and habits.
- Establishing goals and objectives in order to reach our customers through appropriate marketing channels (digital and traditional). .
- Creating marketing materials for our website and other marketing platforms.
- Supporting the marketing team with marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas, including optimization, advertising, social media, direct marketing, and event planning.
- Assisting with the analyses of marketing data
- Collaborating with sales, marketing, advertising, product design and product development team members to planning promotional marketing campaigns
- Creating editorial and content creation calendars for various media platforms and outlets
- Assisting with the design, negotiation and placement of billboards, traditional media ads on TV and radio, social media ads and email blasts
- Assist marketing manager in the development and execution of campaigns
- Looking after the budget of the marketing department
- Managing the design / production of promotional materials, such as websites and brochures.
- Overseeing the company's attendance at events, such as trade shows, conferences, and festivals.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Communications or related field.
- 3 or more years of marketing experience (digital and traditional) in a corporate, or agency environment
- Manufacturing/Transport/ Automotive Industry experience is essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access)
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, and CRM and CMS software and Graphic Design.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Experience using analytics software.
- Experience with product launches or integrated marketing campaigns
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Working knowledge of market research, surveys, and data analytics
- Proficiency with content management systems
- Experience in planning and leading initiatives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks. ? Highly organized and detail oriented.
