Manager Warranty and Maintenance Plans Fund

About the position

REQUIREMENTS

• South African Citizen, currently residing in Kariega/ Gqeberha, or willing to relocate
• CA(SA) or CIMA
• B.Com (Hon) Accounting or Management Accounting
• 5 -10 years experience at a management level
• 3 years experience in compiling and controlling sizeable expenditures/ budgets >R500 million

ADDED ADVANTAGE

• Proficiency in Qlik Sense and Power BI
• Financial and/ or technical experience gained in the automotive industry
• Ability to work in SAP

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strategic financial planning to ensure that the fund can grow and to guarantee sufficient funds are available to meet the obligations of the fund
• Regularly assess the adequacy of provisions in the fund to guarantee legally required annual pay-outs to dealers (regular risk assessment by model)
• Calculate and forecast provisions for potential “black swan” events
• Develop new products to enhance the current offering, and increase loyalty and part sales
• Identify and implement new sales channels to sell more maintenance/ service plans to maximise the sale of plans and to grow loyalty and part sales
• Manage and maintain strict control over the warranty and maintenance plans and roadside assistance expenditure
• Improve the financial result of the company by ensuring thorough effective budgeting, and monitoring expenditures against targets
